Jay G Mehta, DO

Dr Mehta is a Phoenix-native who founded the Arizona Skin Institute in late 2014.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr Mehta has specialized on the treatment of skin conditions including acne, rosacea and psoriasis. He is skilled in complex surgical techniques and specializes in the treatment of various skin cancers.

His private practice covers all areas of dermatology including cosmetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments.

Education: Dr Mehta is a Brophy College Preparatory graduate and went to college at Arizona State University. His medical training at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.

Training: Dr Mehta's residency and fellowship were at the Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital and Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he trained in internal medicine and focused his study in dermatology. Dr Mehta is currently board certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

Passions: Dr Mehta enjoys international travel, culture, reading, music, and spending time with his friends and family. His sense of humor and giving nature are qualities that develop peer, staff and patient loyalty.

Becky was a paramedic/firefighter for 10 years. She graduated with her PA degree from Midwestern University, Glendale in 2002. She initially practiced at the Arizona Burn Center until 2004 where she developed her love for everything skin related. She comes to Arizona Skin Institute with 15 years of Dermatology experience and is a Diplomate Fellow with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and skin types and is experienced in multiple procedures as well. She has 3 sons and has been married to her husband Dan for 25 years. She loves everything outdoors and is the current senior ladies Arizona State Champion in cowboy mounted shooting.
